Toyota was experimenting with something similar in the early '90s.

Anything of mine that runs VP stuff isn't basic transport. Not a concern for me.

If you wanna run VP fuel VPR is a good choice for a mild performance engine. Octane isn't too high and it's pushing 6% oxygen for a couple extra ponies providing jetting is addressed. What I like about VP fuels is the consistency and latitude. It's forgiving once tuned properly and is the same batch to batch unlike the swill dispensed at the local station.

That is one thing that impressed me. The profile doesn't get that squared off feeling as it ages. It flat spots the most used section but the original profile mimics that somewhat. It's a big fat meaty thing too.

Approaching 10K miles. Finally found a seat that works. It took 4 tries for that. Harley's seats are just too damn soft. Switched over to Mobil1 15w50 at 5K service from Harley Syn3. Rear tire lasted 8600 miles before I decided it was done. I replace tires early unlike many others. The damn thing weighs 800 pounds and fixing a flat roadside just isn't something I feel like doing.

Tell 'em when they're paying my bills their opinion might matter. Until then STFU.

I recently used an Sprinter type van from Enterprise rental cars. No mileage and cheaper than uHaul.

I remember a magazine (Motocross Action???) doing a dyno and track test on them when they were new. To make a long story short they work well.

K&N filters typically incorporate a velocity stack inside the filter.

Over the years I've found if using the stock intake is an option it's often the best one. Far less headache tuning and such. Especially on a bike that didn't see huge sales numbers.
