Last post by 1976RD400C - April 25, 2024, 03:50:14 PMYou can measure the primary winding resistance in your old coils and compare it to the auto ones. Test across the 2 small wires coming out of the coil. I think the oem ones should be about 3-4 ohms and if the auto ones are close to that it should be ok. If the auto coils are only 1 ohm they may get too warm and a ballast resistor will fix that, like what is on the RD400.

Last post by m in sc - April 25, 2024, 02:57:42 PMi'll be honest, looks a lot like the TZR shock which i replaced with an r1 unit. i just swapped out the stock spring on the tzr shock onto the r1 body and it worked great. not sure if that's an option here, i did try to look up what that shock crossed to, and any info, didn't see anything. Im sure yss makes something what will work but no idea what.
