Hi guys
So started on wiring or at least try to😅

The wiring is ground up, m unit everything from scratch.
First question

The neutral wire, where does that go to?
I have a new one on the switch in the engine,

Best regards

It goes from the switch on the motor up to the green light in the gauges. It's the light blue wire coming out of the gauge assembly.

I have Nothing but parts that needs to be connected to a custom wiring harness

What gauges are you going to be running? If they have a neutral light, then the blue wire fron the neutral switch is basically the ground wire for the neutral light.

I am 99.9 % sure the Moto Gadget m unit does not have a dedicated channel for the neutral light. I believe you also have a Moto Gadget dash?
The neutral light bulb or led gets +12vdc when ignition is on, from your m unit or ignition lock, however you wire it. It then gets grounded via your neutral switch when gearbox is in neutral. It is just a basic light bulb.
I believe you may find that some other warning lights,  etc will require some wiring external to the m unit. Just get a stock wiring diagram and the wiring diagram for your dash/instrument/warning light pod, as well as the m unit diagram. Make a big pot of coffee, sit down and study the wiring diagrams. And figure it all out for yourself.

The neutral light has a power and a ground. The ground was originally light blue. On my RD250 I ran a new wire up to the neutral light plug inside the headlight from the switch. One long wire.
