Electrical connector help

Can the wires be removed from this connector? I have no continuity in one wire and I think the issue is where the wire joins the metal part in the connector block.

yes. you need to pull the white part back, its the 4 tabs you can see around the block above the orange seal. should be 2 on one side, 2 on the other. push in, pull back.

Thanks. There is just one bigger white piece on the other side. I did try push the two smaller ones in, maybe I have to put a bit more effort in.

Can't you take a small drill bit shaft and push it in the keyway shaped square slot along side the metal socket on the wire to release the one wire out of the plug assembly?

Sucess
A drop of wd40, a bit of a jiggle and a push on the larger side white piece and it slid over a bit.
The pins are held in by a slot that the white plastic piece slides into, locking them in place.
