torque engineering pipes.

Ive had a set. loud but pretty decent. and heavy. good for stock motors. better than dgs for power. but not by much.

2steve

Loud, but not snappy. Sounded fantastic.
Thanks for letting me try them out, Mark.
Not likely to ever forget them. Somebody here should pick those up.

Guess I'm gonna need some header pipes. I all the pipes I have are one piece exhaust.

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of these pipes..these chambers that I bought off of eBay.
Like I said in my initial post I had never seen any pipes like this so I got a couple questions if you guys could look at the pictures on that post.
First of all what the heck are those rods? Maybe a support rod or some other thing it's all I can figure out. I've never seen anything like that before
Secondly I looked at the picture of the rear of the exhaust and wondering if are those are restricter plates of some sort. It looks like one side was welded shut and the other side has a bolt that you could loosen and then turn the plate to block or unblock the tubes? I am excited to restore them but I'd like to know what I'm actually looking at before they get here so I can put up a game plan on them.

The rods appear to be an added support brace.

Yup!
I found some installed pics of them.
Still ain't found out more about the baffles.

Yes, the rods are to support the back of the pipe as they are fairly heavy on the back end.  They also had 2 different type of tips that I am aware of,  the black bike (mine) in the picture above has the newer style tips.  the tips bolt on through a 1/4" bolt in the center of the tip which typically twists off when you try to take them off.  I ended up brazing mine to keep them on.

pic of the silver bike is mine BTW

yup. that support rod can go as it serves no purpose.
