measure the banshee steels, they maybe notably thinner than the 400 ones. or not. just check them. .02

If you ordered these steels, they are the same as the RD400
   Yamaha 498-16325-00-00 CLUTCH PLATE
I don't seem to have the thickness spec in my notes. But as Mark said, it's best to measure just to be certain.

-only- reason i mentioned it, somebody in the past had some 'banshee steels' in their rd, and i remember it slipped and when they measured them, they were quite a bit thinner. they were prob something aftermarket, not sure where they came from.

Banshee and RD400 have the same Part Number : 498-16325-00-00

Correct, that what I said.
But as a side note you should always measure the components to be sure that your clutch stack is the going to be the same. :twocents:

Apparently, no Clutch slip, After changing the Clutch and Friction Plates, Bike was showing same increased RPM.
Put a different Tacho of Daytona borrowed from another bike, Now RPM is 120kmph @ 5500 RPM, I guess it is okay.
