new fork leg lower is the only fix worth doing, or would have to be welded up and shaped on a lathe. man, that sucks. and don't use a pry-bar to pull it out like that. if you do go easier. is the seal area affected all the way down?? if not, you can use it the dust cover will hide it and -maybe- use some case sealant behind the seal there if its making at least half contact but i would give that a 50/50 chance of working.

I agree. Maybe clean it up real good, put the seal in and fill the hole with JB weld. Still taking a chance though, especially if it encroaches on the sealing area.

Worst I did was bend one up bad enough the seal wouldn't seat straight. Still replaced it with another fork leg though. Sorry that happened!

The Red Scourge

It looks like it's the dust seal area, but could let moisture and road grit into the actual seal area.

id use case sealant, moto seal. it will leech in and give a little.

worth a shot. I'd try it.

There are a couple sets of fork lowers on ebay right now.

KANDY

Bought one set from ebay already. Waiting to arrive.
