Hydroformed or stamped in halves and seam welded. FPPs were made like that. Technically should result in a better finished design than cones. Requires less skill in the assembly than pie-cut tig welded sections that have to be clocked just right.
 There is a lot of expense in the forming equipment. Die making is very costly. It was an art before CAD and CNC. Then it's a shame that FPP scrapped their dies. If they even owned them. Could have been a contract production job.

FPP stamped pipes for a few other brands, including the Moto Carrera millennium pipes. They are still in biz stamping out PWC pipes in Ukiah, CA.

Do they have the Pro-Flow logo embossed in the side of the belly like others I've seen?  If so, they're probably stamped.
