I'm looking for a good pair of rear shocks(less than $950)for my 75' RD250B.
I want ones with straight-rate springs, which I can exchange for the correct springs,if needed;a set of rear shocks that're adjustable damping.
I called and spoke w/ Ikon(Roger)in Bedford,PA.and didn't appreciate his abrupt/'too busy' way of hurried speaking;I'll try someone else.
I have a little 81' Honda CB125S w/ the XL200R engine and it runs Hagons w/ their 'too stiff' springs;I installed a set of used/softer springs, and the Hagons are ok and work fine.
I want better than them.

Does Chris Livengood still rework RFY shocks?  They are cheap to buy and surprisingly good for what they cost, but can be improved.

I heard he just lost his Mother,so I'll wait for a while.

I bought Hagon's for my RD and my GT. I love them. Got them from Wemoto and it was cheaper that way.

Mark, do they have good damping characteristics on a lightweight bike for varied speed and terrain ?

i mean, i have no complaints. the grom is pretty lightweight

I think these will be good for my RD.
