Quote from: gargantua350 on August 08, 2025, 09:11:42 AMMan that is great.  Sorry to derail this post.  Has anybody transplanted an RZ motor in a RD frame?  I know there are LC top end conversions like Marcs amazing bike but I have never seen an actual RZ motor transplants.  I saw at a bike show a banshee conversion in a sport bike frame but that's it.  I assume alot of fab work.  excited to see how your bike turns out well done!

You want to be the 1st to build 1 and document here?  :vroom:  I have an extra 86/87 complete 1kt 2ME (Canadian) TZR250 motor + radiator + race pipes + big carbs I intend to sell in near future as I'll never use it. I acquired it in a package deal along with a basket case 1987 1kt 2MA. A previous owner called the spare motor, etc. his "race package" for track days. Perfect for a transplant project. I could even supply a rolling 1974 RD350 to use as host for the transplant.

I would love too but I am in the middle of a divorce now.  I will be faced with some financial challenges as I am still recovering from the emotional part.  It has become apparent that my hopes and dreams will be put on hold for a while now.  Thanks for the offer though.

hang in there brother. I think we've all experienced some version of what you are going through and most somehow come out the other side (relatively) OK. Best of luck to you!

My oil pump arrived from the UK today. Gary used Royal Mail and USPS. Return was duty-free  :righteous:  Didn't have time to open the box.
The chambers from Wicked are supposed to leave CA Friday fingers crossed.

Looks better than new. He included a set of Allen attach bolts, a gasket for the oil pump and bleed screw plus a new worm gear. Thanks Arrow!!
