Hi all,

I bought a pair of carbs off a member here and had a couple questions.

See the picture in link below.

I mixed up the float bowls and wondering if they are carb specific.  The one on right has a small 'T' on the base of the carb.  Do I have them on the correct sides?

One carb appears to be missing the brass tube that sits to the left of the pilot.  Is this a necessary part I need to replace?

Thanks for the help!

The brass tube is for the enrichment circuit on the left carb, that carb has a specific float bowl.

So in that case the brass tube is not missing as it was never there.  Is that correct?

The float bowl with the 'T' has the hole cut out of the tube in the float bowl near the bottom of the float bowl.  This float bowl should go to the carb with the brass tube in that case, correct?

If someone could confirm that would be awesome and I can get these carbs on the bike!

Appreciate the help!

Saweeeet.  Here I thought I was on a goose hunt after a brass tube.  Thanks all!  Answered!

Yes, you got it...A master carb and a slave carb on factory carbs.
The master carb picks up fuel from the left bowl and shares it with the right slave carb via a 1/4 short crossover fuel tube connecting them together on the insides of the carbs.
