cylinder head dampers

i have a rd350b. i have the rubber cylinder dampers. i do not have the actual cylinder head dampers. do i need them?

You don't need them, but it cuts down on the loud ringing sound the head fins make.

i didn't know about the ringing sound. i have to wear ear plugs when i ride. it isn't for the noise of the motorcycle. it is actually wind noise. i was a front end tech at the ford dealer for 15 years. i used a air hammer every day. i was dump and not educated on the effects of noise on your ears. Many times i'll get on my bike and ride off just to go back and get my ear plugs. it's that bad.
