went ahead and drew up and new hl bucket that integrates the endurance speedometer and the hl switch but uses the 'original' TY 175 hl ring. pretty happy the result. did a rough test print in abs, then some adjustments, then final in pteg.

Nice!

Pretty handy to be able to make up custom parts that don't otherwise exist!

bit of a change-up. the clipons were fun but was a bit tight, so figured id try a set of conventional bars after 7 years.

i had these on the 72 t500 , aluminum wide bars. used a stock rd triple tree and some unknown ( honda?) bar clamps.

the only thing i had to modify was lengthen the brake light and kill switch wires a few inches.

while this cosmetically isn't what originally went for, after test riding it, it really makes the bike just so much more usable.

heres a funny side note.  i measured the Clip-ons, tree and hardware, and the stuff i put on is .9 lbs lighter. was not the goal at all,  but ok.  :toot:  the part on the tree that is the loop retainer for the wires i drew up and 3d printed to utilize the stock gauge mounts.

all i can say is that this thing is just freaking rowdy .

These things are never truly finished, are they? Thanks for sharing the evolution!
