I find the CX engine to be unlovely. It's styled like it was intended to be hidden inside bodywork, like the PC800. Moto Guzzi made the same layout look purposeful and muscular. So when I asked "what's uglier than a CX500 engine", the answer is: this particular CX500 engine.
