I'll guess you think all triple owners are STUPID ?

Where did you get that completely off-base assumption accusation? :umm: Did I say anything about owners being stupid? ::)

The ones that grate on my nerves are the KH750 sellers. There was no KH750. Only KH250, KH400 and one year only 76 KH500. And the ones who call every triple a Widowmaker. That moniker was only for the H2750...the other KHs mentioned may also be one year only as well I am not sure.

We saw a lot of those 16 inch conversions on H1s and H2s in the late 70s in the bike shop I was apprenticing in. The smaller rear wheel was supposed to help you get out of the hole faster.
As it turns out the Phoenix Project has a 16 on the rear, and a 17 on the front. But it is a 130/90/16 so it is probably as tall as a 17.

Psychology 101. Word association: "Tripple"; Ripple.

"Cripple". It's a mixture of Ripple and cream. I call it "cripple." Y'see, after you drink a few of 'em, you walk with a limp.

"Champipple" Ripple pear wine and Champale.

I just keep hearing Redd Foxx's voice... In my head.

I had a hard time giving away my KH400 last year.

Everything was new, rebuilt or refurbished.

All I could wring out of it was $3500 and it took like three months to sell.

Jim, I was looking at your bike when it was for sale ( I know Garrett did a bunch of work on it), at that time I had an S3A that I got for $50 that was complete, rusty, no-title, and frozen solid. I thought about how much it would cost to make it a 5K bike, and I figured probably 6K, if I was lucky. Fortunately some flipper came and gave me $1200 for it. According to him it's heading back to Japan...................................D
