Absolutely beautiful! Provenance?
@85RZwade
I am not 100% sure what provenance mean. It was built as a TZ350E from 1978. But the bike has no special history. It was raced in the german championship back in period. But it seems not used very much as the frame was never repaired/welded which is rare on these bikes. The last 10 years it stood in the private collection and the owner never came around to finish it. Engine in and it will ride. But I will swap the rear wheel for a PVM one at least. Engine wise I am not sure what I will do. I have the right TZ350 engine lying here but the bike would be not competitive in this form at our GP350 class. To many really high engineered and fast 350's in our series with superb pilots on it. Same would be as a TZ250. So it would be better and more competitive in our GP250S1 class where only aircooled engines are allowed. So a highly modified RD250 engine seems to be the best choice. In the end it is equal for me as I don't ride it myself. I always lent out my bikes to friends to race.

Hi,
was a bit struggled with organisation work for our first race meeting this year we hold last weekend at my home track(just 5km away from home) Hockenheim, so I was not often here lately.
Finally my Honda NF5 that I won in January arrived last weekend in her natural habitation. I am very pleased with the bike. It is really perfect for a never restored 30 year old bike.

Well,
had a bit of luck yesterday evening. Won this one in a raffle in the UK. Hope to have it in Germany end of march.

Regards Uwe

  WOW, that's one hell of an awesome Raffle prize!  The only raffle I've won was a fundraiser for the local VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and the prize was a Bolt Action Hunting Rifle chambered in
  7mm Mauser. Like Greg said, pretty much the only Raffle Bikes here are Old Harleys, Indians or other Cruisers. I suppose winning one of those could bring enough cash upon sale to buy an
  exotic Euro market specific bike.   Speaking of such things, I've always loved little bikes.  I believe this model was German market only.  I used to see them keep up with my RD350 until I went past 100kph, then I'd lose 'em.  Always thought it'd be a killer addition to my garage.  If you EVER see one for sale - I believe the model was a 1977, send me a PM!   Missed out on one about
12 years ago:

@Quicklimegirl,
yes. This aircooled Hercules 50 Ultra is a 1977 model. From 1978 they were watercooled. That was my youth. I had a Puch 50 Cobra GTL.

It made 100kph aswell.
But both the Hercules Ultra and the Puch Cobra 6GTL are near impossible to find these days. They were rare back in period due to very high insurance rates. My Puch cost around 1000 Deutsch Mark insurance back in 1979......that's roughly the equivalent of 1500 Dollar now!

Hi guys,
the lottery win bike is gone now. A friend persisted me to sell him the bike since he saw it when I got it delivered. He has genuine bikes of Toni Mang and Helmut Bradl in his collection and wanted something original also. In the end I gave up and sold her to him. Something Yamaha was in my mind now. First I wanted to buy a later V2 Yamaha 2stroke but deep in me I felt that I am oldschool bike wise. So I searched for a TZ/F-G model as I have a twinshock B and an E model to round up my collection. But per accident I got offered something even rarer with TZ engine. Luckyly the money I got for the Honda was still there and more than enough to buy it. It's a Siroko TZ250 from 1979. One of Antonio Cobas early creations before they were named Kobas or JJ-Cobas.

If you're still looking I have a Tz350G for sale in Canada, Brian Henderson's bike.
Or a TA125 with spares or a TZ350B with almost no hours on it, only used for parade laps, comes with original Yamaha spares.

Thanks bittz for the offer. But I am in Germany, I think shipping costs would be a killer. Getting overhere a F or G is no problem, in fact I could choose from 3 -4 good ones at a good price also but now my bike money is in the Siroko so I have to fill up the wallet for the next one..... :cool:
