I will need a set of gauges for my bike.. before I go and buy some I was wondering if the yds7/R5/RD share the same tachs and speedometer. or are they different?
Thanks

ds7 and r5 are same.

rd 250/350/400 will function.  all ratios are the same across yamaha and kawasaki.

i actually have these on another bike and they are fantastic.

on www.partsnmore.com the matching tach is: #03-0759

the speedo is here on partsnmore, cheaper too.

YDS7 and R5 are identical.  RD has different, angled input shafts.

i dont have any close up pics but here they are on my t500. they are 99% the same size as an r5 gauge.

I painted the housings with wrinkle black.

Wow they are cheap. And look good too.
How did you mount them?

m in sc

stock bracket just opened it up a bit. would work on r5 mount as well with a bit of finesse . oh side note.. those are spare R5 rubber rings around the edge of the gauge. ;)

105. the extra 25 is for downhills and drafting  :dawg:

Mark, might those gauges fit the stock RD? That's tempting as hell.

the cable input isnt angled but you can make anything work if you try hard enough.  :haw: :science:
