Check this Guy out, he offers a service to replace the seal/seat on choke plungers for various bikes including early RD's.

Took her for ~50 miles today. Hills, flats, curves, straights. Ran great! Shut her off twice for pit stops and she fired first kick. After cool down to cold pulled the plugs and they looked great. When first started this morning, she wanted choke (not for long) so I guess the repositioning of the choke and lowering the fuel level in the left carb did the trick. Still need to work more on the rear master cylinder. Might break down and buy a Chinabay master and a brake switch banjo bolt.
