You probably ever heard of most of them. Amon Amarth Children of Bodom, The Hu, Tyr. And Iron Maiden when I'm in an oldies mood.

Lately, I've been drawn to 70's lounge music.

I can't believe Maiden was excluded from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, again, but Carole King and the F'n Go-Go's are in? Unbelievable...

RUSH!!!!

I got into Rush when Hemispheres came out.  Great instrumental album. :metal:

AFA B.O.C....  "I love the night"...Buck Dharma's Devil's Nail (BD Archive)  guitar sounds way better / Buck's boogie & Shooting Shark April 11, 1997 (just listened to the live version on youtube, kickass)  .  Buck has a smooth voice.  Saw them in Hollywood w/ Judy QLG...awesome...think 2016 it was.

Eric Johnson Ah Via Musicom.

Current youtube band faves:  Unleash the Archers, Jinjer, Ghost

Judas Priest's Stained Class, Sin After Sin, and British Steel always does it for me. After that, not so much, but I stopped listening to them after Point of Entry.  They seem to have done alright without me.   :dawg:  Very dramatic and almost cheesy, but who else can sing like Halford did?  And the rest of them did their things like no one before them, as far as I recall. :metal:

JP is an all time favorite of mine, can't leave out defenders of the faith or sad wings of destiny, such amazing albums. Mercyful fate, Iron maiden, motorhead, testament. Pretty much all the greatest metal. I also get down pretty hard on late '90s and early '00s hip hop/gangster rap. Some of my best wrenching moments have been to heavy metal. It just makes sense when your working on bikes!
