Anyone using Rz350 Wiseco Prolite in the air cooled RD?

I bought a set and modified it (remove the tab) just like we do on the Pro x. They are also made for 0.003" like the air cooled Wiseco.

The modified Prolite is 22% lighter, making it almost as light as the Prox cast piston.

I've been using them (2 sets) in my modified 400 and they seem to hold up really well. You can tell they are real strong. No abnormal wear and tear and when my bike jumped out of gear at WFO and went to probably over 12K rpm they took it when a cast piston my have exploded. That's happened several times, with missed  shifts too. I wouldn't use the regular heavy Wisecos.

Yeah I can't see why they wouldn't be better.

I was thinking about trimming the intake skirt on the regular Wiseco to reduce the slap, that is something I have done on my race snowmobile, so removing the tab on the Prolite is actually saving me work to achieve the same goal.

I installed the pistons today and will ride them this weekend. The bike is not setup for high revs (stock cylinders, DG pipes and pods), but i will heat them like hell.

I have a set of Prolite. They work well. Also, these are available in incremental sizes of 0.25.

Cast pistons can handle a 12k missed shift pretty easily, ask how I know :)
