Favorite timing lights. (Or brands that don't suck.)

Seems like the old trusty Craftsman timing light has gone on an adventure without me. :umm:  What are the brands you've bought lately that work for longer than the warranty?
Every day above ground is a good one.

Hey! My Craftsman Ebay special just seems to decide when it wants to work or not lol.

I'm afraid mine is an old trusty inductive pickup Craftsman (no adjustable advance or anything, just the trigger).

i have a dial-back craftsman, digital. I repaired the cable on it  since they weren't equal lengths in the shielding, and its been great for years. its sold here under a different brand but it has a 2 stroke setting which is awesome. I used it last weekend on the car re-curving the distributor actually.

I've got the same one as M, mine is okay with the wasted spark HPI at higher RPMs. Bought it for around $50 I think. My ten+ year old basic HF works great but has frail wires.

i'll tel you, its been invaluable setting up programmable ignitions.

Just a question. Surely, there must be a small delay beween the actual spark and the light? Maybe more so with an inductive clamp type vs. The old type which was connected in series between plug and coil.

Same here.
I've had mine for 25 years or more, and it's as trusty as ever. I have taken really good care of it and treat it like any delicate electronics. It's still stored in the original box

That's the one I had. :taz:  My kids probably lost it in the woods playing space man. :bang:

Yep, same as mine. Works on everything I've tried it on.
