I headed over Tuesday and had a couple of good rides up and down the dragon on the mighty GT750. It was great to see the guys again and have time to relax and talk bikes.

That is owned by my friend and roomie Shane. He is a member here but not sure if his user name is Retro 3 here or not? He is from Alabama and a good dude. Yes, it is a unique bike!

What a great week and Gap event this year! The weather was great, superb roads to ride as usual, great friends, etc.... Met and spent time with AAAltered/ Ed and since I had my Empi snail synchrometer with me, I synched his carbs on his beautiful bitsa Yamaha twin. Special thanks to Mark (m in sc) as well as his wife Angie for all he does and their hospitality. The guy from cycle drag was there and as a treat below is a link to what we experience there. And yes, I am the owner of the Kenny Rogers Edition RZ350. I didn't want to be on video but heard him out there from inside the room. Enjoy:

I've only seen Chuck Q once at Barber. Is that him near the beginning of the video, starting up his yellow RD, (which is different than before)?

If so, hope he is doing very well. My 400 is such a sweet riding bike after he did his update porting job.

That's the best video from CycleDrag that I've watched so far!  Nice seeing video of some of the guys I have chatted with on this and on the Kawi triple forums.  The guy with the hard-starting RZ looks familiar.

Paul- was that a traffic stop or did he just want to talk with you about your beautiful RD?

I passed him going the opposite direction (unmarked car) near the overlook.
On the way back he was at the 129 photo turnout.
Waved me in. Asked how fast I thought I was going so I say 35.
He did strep back and say nice bike. Be safe.
