Don't know how many of ya can remember Jeff Beck, but I just went out and tore it up.

What year LP is that dgorms and what pick ups are on it? I have severe sellers remorse from a 1980 LP Custom I owned (cherry sunburst finish) and sold in the late 80's. Best neck on any guitar I ever played. I still have my '79 Strat though that my mother purchased new for me. It's not going anywhere but due to valuation, I can't take it out anywhere anymore. Too much sentimental value there too.. My workhorse axe is a 2000 Paul Reed Smith Swamp Ash Special. It has coil tapping with the standard McCarty pu's and plays soo well. Also, if anyone is looking for a recommendation for a low cost quality small tube amp, I highly recommend the Stage Right series sold by Monoprice. It's internals are the same as a British Laney! Sounds so good that I sold my modified Fender Blues Jr.! Rock on!!  :olaf: :metal:

Evans, it was born on Aug. 8th 1979 in Nashville. Pick ups are stock with covers removed, JCM is an 86. I got strats, teles, and an SG but I always find myself going back to this old work horse. For lower volumes I use my 67 DeLuxe Reverb!

I've never sold a guitar! Given a few away to family though. I've spent most of my money on guitars and bikes, the rest I blew! The Les Paul will end up with my grandson or granddaughter.

Jeff has always been in my top 5 favorite guitarists, even though I was born way after what most would call his peak.  I was fortunate enough to get to see him when I was in high school around 2003-04.  Such an unmistakable style!
