Hey everyone,

We all likely encounter this problem: how do we efficiently pack as many bikes as possible into our storage space(s) while still being able to maneuver? I have four in my 12x16 shed at the moment (with a fifth at m in sc's place) along with a small work table and a single dual-stacked toolbox. The only way out for bikes is the one roll-up door, so I try to put the less-frequently ridden and easier to move bikes in toward the front. I have the RD350 backed in on the center stand and the AR80 pulled in forward leaning close to it. The bigger bikes are closer to the door, pulled straight in on their sidestands.

How do you deal with this puzzle yourselves?

Main problem is the tracking from the wheels limiting how they roll.

Motorcycle dolly... Surprisingly cheap I thought but you'd need one for each bike. Never tried it myself with motorcycles but I have used "go dollies" on cars when I had too many. Much easier to move around in a tight space.

Then you can move them around in any direction without having to go back and forth.

Matt knows how i do it, but for the rest, i just line them up along one wall nose in. this was a few yrs ago, usually the toolbox is 90 degrees from this where the nose of the car is, and the falcon does not live in the garage.

Right now i have 10 bikes in the garage, and can still work on 1 at a time easily.

I really have no use for a dolley or lift. this is just a std 2 car garage, the trick is to keep it organized and clean and keep shit off the floor.

This is an interesting option for sure. Thanks for the idea.

Watch CL for one of these HF units. This bike lives in front of a car in the garage. It has to sideways in to it's resting spot. I think I paid $40 for this one.
