I just received an email from Mecum stating that they will be auctioning off the John Parnham Collection this fall at the National Motorcycle Museum.

Pretty sad that the National Motorcycle Museum is closing for good Sept 5, 2023

Parnham was the founder of J&P Cycles and the man behind the museum.

Wow, it's too bad someone isn't willing to keep it going.  It's very odd to me that the dateline on that article reads Walworth, WI.  That's 30 minutes from my hometown.

Never been there, the Vintage Husky is a rarity for sure and that Shell gas station is pretty awesome.

If anyone can make it before it closes it's worth a trip. Over 500 motorcycles and tons of memorabilia hanging on walls. It is truly amazing . I live about 45 mins from there and have been there twice. Going again this summer before it closes. People could see the handwriting on the wall with Covid and John dying it was just a matter of time.
