Friday was pretty wet. Saw Schwantz, Roberts Jr., Mamola, Stoner, and a few of the current guys
Saturday schedule was cancelled entirely as a safety precaution due to a high wind warning. It is the first time in the 30 year history of the event for a weather cancellation.

He's the first one who's come out and said out loud what's been whispered behind the scenes for a while. The new bikes rely too much on electronics and not the rider. Rossi said the same thing years ago, but the reliance on button pressing and processors now is even greater. I'm all for going back to the old ways and removing all the 'electronic training wheels' and aero BS (but of course I also want them to bring back 2-strokes but we know that will never happen).
Someone should ask Mamola what he feels about the topic, I'm sure he'll give an honest in-your-face response!
