Seems like a good deal at a fair price:

1986 NSR250R IMA

There is also a '94 mc28 that sells in a couple hours hovering around $12K:

SoCal250

Unfortunately both are pretty worthless here since they have TN titles. The MC28 is a sought after bike although that one has some cosmetic issues and is a repaint

My interest in NS(R)250R's peaked because of the newly acquired fixer '84 NS250 I'm recommissioning. Check out the rather optimistic price estimate on this NS400R at the Mecum auction:

As a neighbor to SoCal250, I wonder how others have managed titles on gray bikes? Non-use only? I had an RZV500R with a clear California Title and Registration, and never gave it much thought or I'da asked the seller how he pulled it off.

I had a Weber carbureted 308GTS that absolutely would not pass Phoenix emissions, so I just registered the car in Maine, got an Out-Of-State Resident plate, and drove 3+ years on that. Plates were like $60 a year. Maybe something like that would work?
