That said, a few years ago I decided I was done fucking around and was ready for the final boss bike.

Hate to admit but I'm jealous. You found a absolute treasure(s). These are the best ones you can lay hands on, nothing more pleasure than hitting 7k and you feel getting launched. I semi-restored one few years ago and that was fun. Be prepared to spend quite a handful for the parts are expensive.
