Got the wiring harness in. Since it's cleaned up and not hacked, it's a pretty sano install, although the meeting point behind the battery has never been a great design. Oil tanks on and plumbed. It's starting to look like something. I need my chrome back, it's overdue but the guy said "this week"...

I dropped my stuff off before all this. I called 2 weeks ago and he said last Wednesday. Well, it' another Wednesday and still haven't heard anything. I thought they wouldn't even be open. I guess it is what it is.

I agree, i never liked that design aspect about these bikes, but at least its all accessible. they did a much better job on the 400s

Engine in. Heads back on and torqued. Began installing controls, including brand new Throttle Cable set. Here's a few pics to show off the chrome work....

Did more work on controls, then wiring today. Got the tach cable run and the clutch cable. Then focused on the wiring inside the bucket... appears all sorted after about two hours staring at diagrams and ohming a few runs out....I want to apply power sooner than later to see that 'stuff' is correct and working.
