I've got my RD350 project assembled and pressure tested. I cannot get these reeds/reed spacers to seal. I'm not too bad but at 6psi I lose about .4 psi in 7 minutes. I can only find tiny leaks between the reeds and spacer. I've tried twice with the same results. At this point I'm using a healthy bead of Mega Grey.

Good enough for the girls I date?

I'd revisit it. it shouldn't leak at all. will it be ok they way it is? probably, but id be worried the leak will get worse over time. make sure the spacer is flat, and if you need to , double gasket it. To make sure the spacer is flat, stone it.  also don't over torque the bolt sit can warp the reed, and use an 'x' pattern.  :twocents:

Alright alright no need to yell at me ;D. I'll try again.

Mark, are the gaskets 100% necessary? I bought Reed spacers and the crossover intakes from Economy. I installed my TDR reeds, but wrecked the gaskets disassembling and didn't buy more gaskets to begin with.

They are going on my next order, other wise was thinking of using Permatex anerobic sealer.

I used threebond 1211. But, for the gaskets a heavy grease helps too.
