Yeah, I was thinking of going with the 6L. Kept looking for something in between a 4 or 5 but must not make them.

Only $65 and free shipping?? I thought they were a lot more expensive. I suppose you can spend as much as you want, like anything else.
I post waayyy too much

yeah they have become dirt cheap. back in the mid 90s my l&r was 400 bucks. of course, its still kicking so there's that. But i have nothing bad to say about the one listed either.  :haw:

Piezo drivers have come down in price. I bought a 15l last winter and have done a set of GoldWing carbs and RD400c carbs in it. Worked fine. Even the high-end cleaners fail. We went through at least one a year from our bank of three at work. They gave me one at work that was real long. Someone had not used a basket or inner tray and the unit had no timer - just switch on. Left running overnight, the parts inside chewed several holes in it. I patched them with gutter seal until the drive electronics finally failed doing CB750F carbs. The 15l that I ebayed shipped from Memphis for ~$130 US.

Agree - get the largest one you can afford.  When I tore down last winter I ran tons of stuff through mine.  Some of the bigger stuff - like a brake backing plate - had to be partially submerged and rotated a few times.

I triple that sentiment. They are amazingly useful. I've even cleaned pans and other cookware in mine. So get the biggest one you can afford.

I bought a Vevor 15L a few years ago and love it. At first I thought I made a mistake getting a larger unit because space in my garage is at a premium, but after doing a few projects I'm glad I opted for the bigger size

I have had the Vevor 10L  for about a year and love it too.  If I had a second chance, I would spend $34 more and get the 15L.

I also recommend a small parts basket for tiny items like jets and bolts. Otherwise you'll be fishing them out of the bottom of the tub after they fall through the stock basket. I bought the 4" CLN-645.00 from Euro Tool

If you plan to use a solvent, please also get a thin stainless steel tray or some Pyrex beakers to put it in. Never put solvents directly in the cleaner! At work, we had to use chloroform, acetone, and methanol sequentially. Kind of nasty (particularly the chloroform). Had to solvent-wipe the tray between each solvent. On carbs I've had good luck with distilled water and a couple drops of dish soap or if you have access, lab ware soap.

Although Chloroform is just bleach, alcohol and acetone mixed together, and you could probably make it yourself, I dont think i would like to try buy it personally. Id probably end up on some kind of list.
