This thing has been on CL for a while. Price was recently cut in half. No claim of whether it's actually got a title. First listed without photos for $20K and typo of "RGV300r" in the subject.

Sounds to good to be true, and only 1 picture? :umm:

Gotta love that "Too much to list" on free ads.

Since Suzuki never built a street RGV500R I'm assuming it's a RG500 engine stuffed into an RGV250, which is a popular conversion. I've seen a few nice ones over the years with both RGVs and Aprilia RS250s.
I predict this thing will not get asking and will be listed for a long time. A little detail (and photos) would probably go a long way to helping get a sale.

If it is legit and done well, it is totally worth the asking price.

A well sorted, recently rebuilt RG500 engine is worth nearly $5k these days.

Yep, I agree. There are two possible outcomes:
1) It could have been done right and be worth quite a lot, especially if it's titled.
2) The other possiblility is that it's a slapped together POS that wasn't done right and needs a lot of work, and without a title

Based on the crappy description and lack of photos and the seller's location in meth-land I'm betting it's the latter.  (Hey I could be wrong, it's been known to happen once before.) :)

Here's a few more pics. I text him and asked for pics and he responded quickly. There's just something that seems a little off about the whole thing imo. If it's legit than it's a screaming deal but there's a lot of ifs there.

My biggest question is ... how did it get built and why is it in the IE?

Like, RGV500 conversions are relatively common in in the UK and EU, but extremely rare here.  Was it built there and brought here?  Built here?  Built in JP?

Like has been said before, a sorted RG500 engine + a titled (or not) VJ22 roller + some unknown modern front end = way more than $10k if you were to DIY.

Sure is shiny tho.  Must be good tweek in Rialto.

I must ask not being from Cali but what is 'the IE'?

Fluids and go, dead battery but runs great, just clean the carbs and go.  These are all quotes that typically signify a lot more work ahead of you.

Part out value may be around there so likely worth a kick.  Nice pipes.

The "I. E. " is the Inland Empire. The guy text me a couple days ago and offered it to me for 9K.

If it is close to as described I would jump on it ASAP.

Sounds super sketchy of coarse, but where else to find something like that??
