tbh, its worth it. part the front end off to a racer and finish the bike with the funds.

That is seriously cool. Needs a good seat and better intake filters. Maybe other less visible reliability, renewal upgrades. Keep that ratty look with the Klotz sticker and over-qualified front wheel and run it.

Hope somebody here snags that.

on a side note:

theres a local guy with too much money having a boutique shop build him a 400 with one of those 4ls brakes, was talked into it. I literally laughed in his face when he told me the (early) 400's came with a drum (as thats what the builder told him).  I bet him 1k cash to prove it to me.

I mean, i get it being on there from 20-30 rs ago but now? just ridiculous. But its def cool. Id use it on the t500 for sure.

No point in it really. Waste of money unless you are building a vintage racer for a class where disc brakes are not allowed..
