Be glad you're not looking in California. You'd be looking at triple that or more
$700K-$800K is a fixer, starter home (or a tear down). The median home in my county is $1M+ :busey:

Congrats and may you both live happily together for a very long time in good health! I sincerely hope you never have to part with the 250, I think you went over the top with it but did such a great job on her in every aspect, she's yours! As far as owning your home I wish I could add some wise advice , I can't (I've been single for so long that it will never change and never moved out of Ma's place and I kinda like it like that,LOL...I got my freedom dammit)but I will say something similar to what I read in a previous post...about 400k here in Gloucester, Ma. for similar size single family homes but I guess that's relative to the area/real estate market.

P.S.-not that it matters but I live alone in a old run down house on a beautiful piece of wooded property that Ma owns. We talked about renovating ourselves before all the craziness of this world the past couple years and now personally I think we're a day late and a dollar short. She lives close by and in a sense my family is kinda tight in that regard. My ma and her husband take care of my sister and my niece and nephew and eventually I will probably help take care of em all. Well I dunno about taking care of them but being fiscally responsible and maintain a good home for all of us.  I dated women for years some were great and some were forgettable none were keepers and the older I get the more focused/ self absorbed I guess I am. Relationships aren't in the cards for everybody. It's my  :toot: today and at 48 I can be OK with all that. I do reserve the right to hopefully meet someone special and to that effect I will say to all of you that have a "better half" I love it!...wish you all the best! Happy wife happy life as they say.

Yea the truck can go. Gas is over $5 and that payment can go right towards the house anyway. The RD is not going away haha. Wife told me hell no, don't sell it. The GT750 might just have to go. But, we'll see.

Does she like riding pillion with you? My wife loves to ride back there. Some want their own, some like to have unrestricted sight-seeing (and napping).
