Seems reasonable for almost 2 bikes?

Pretty good deal and I'd use the bodywork off the parts bike roller as main items. Cases on motor most likely will have to be split to fix that Kickstarter hanging up issue.

might be that pesky shim washer. I agree, id use the 'parts' bodywork, thats a good deal regardless how you slice it.  :cheerleader:

I like that KH. For some reason I've become a big fan of the Kawa purple color theme over recent years. (First thing I'd do is dump that rear tire!)

Do not underestimate the power of a two-stroke.

KH is probably my favorite out of the Kawa triple series especially the 400. Seems like they had enough time by that point to do the R&D to put together some well balanced machines with consideration on handling and braking.

The engines are tamer, but the usual mods can pull out the potential. Still prefer twins for cost and simplicity though. From what I have seen a Yamaha twin can out perform the corresponding KH triple/ cc- correct me if I'm wrong. I seem to see more moded RDs than KHs though.

Kawasaki did have some of the best color schemes and bodywork in the 70s streetbike scene imho.

IIRC, the kh500 also had the 1 down 4 up shift pattern rather than 5 up like the h1
