Apparently Motorcyclist Magazine is calling it quits. I received this postcard a few days ago. Since it went to a 6-issue year instead of 12 about a year and a half ago, combined with the fact that it has redundant stories with its sister publication Cycle World, I guess it's not a big surprise.

Sad. I remember anticipating the monthly release of all of the motorcycle magazines back in the day.

Me too.  My favorite magazines were Cycle Guide (been gone a long time) and Motorcyclist.

Cycle World isn't the same now, it's full of glossy pictures and less writing.

My favorite was Cycle Magazine which I was subscribed to from the early to late 1970's. I too couldn't wait for the next issue because I usually read it from cover to cover.

I was actually reading Motorcyclist Magazine long before I even had a motorcycle! In the mid-80's, I remember reading articles by James Parker about frame design and his ideas of front swingarm steering. All the physics involved- I was hooked! The magazine is such an institution, it's sad to see it go...

So much for subscribing for two years.  :bang:
Do not underestimate the power of a two-stroke.

That sucks.
And yea, I remember subscribing to the Big 3 at the time. Motorcyclist, Cycle, and Cycle World.
Always had something to read in the "Library" :P
