i seriously doubt thats a 'correct' dual disc setup, it was a 'factory' dealer ad on, but the actual real ones are hens teeth, almost guarantee its from kz parts.

I mean, plan on dumping another 7-12k into it to be a reliable rider.  Just depends how bad you want one. looks like it has one of jims lakeland ignition boxes on it. But id bet the motor needs a full rebuild.

That's how much they cost.

As mark said. make sure your finances are in order and get your wallet out.  Going from roller to rider is a long and expensive journey, with one more of everything compared to a twin.

IMHO, even a well sorted H2 isn't a particularly enjoyable bike to own and ride.
Wasting time on 2T forums since the dawn of the internet. '89 TDR250, '23 300xcw, '24 Street Triple RS, '56 Porsche 356A, '88 325is '89 560SL. Too many toys.

I agree with everything except the enjoyable bike to own and ride part. There is no sensation like a well tuned H2 coming on the pipe. Personally I don't care for either the 74 or 75 models. They are longer, slower, heavier and the 74 and up oiling system is a PITA with the single feed line to the mains and the three carb float bowl lines. To each his own.

Well, I take it as a NO for me then.

I have never seen a triple before but certainly understand where you guys are coming from in terms of it's handling, restoration costs, parts availability etc. but I think those motors are fun and I can hear'em all day long especially with Dencos they make awesome crackle.
