I went ahead and bought a 50 pack of Velcro tie wraps off Amazon and let me tell you, they work great as replacements for those pesky reusable zip ties Yamaha and others have used. They cost I think 6 or 7 dollars on prime.

Harley Davidson needs some of those apparently.

in the past few years I've gone to velcro for holding harness in place under the tanks, etc over zip ties where I can. alo, soft side to the wires is probably easier in the long run

They are very handy, Many years ago, I owned a computer shop, and we bought those in rolls for keeping wires neat. I still have a roll of red, and a roll of black, great idea.

I use the brightly colored ones, from the computer trade, when "prototyping" wiring. Use them to hold the wiring in place till it's done. (If you've done BIG wiring jobs, you find yourself 3/4 ways done, only to find you're routed it wrong).
When you're done, replace all the brightly colored straps with whatever you are using permanently
Been doing that for years and years

that's my 'white zip tie' method. white zip ties are temp. black ones are final
