It has working brakes now, too! Very fun Sunday for sure.

m in sc and I spent the weekend in his storage unit laying down a fresh paint job on the RD400E. It took me a really long time to decide which colors I wanted for this bike, but a conversation among friends over beer and pizza ultimately led me here - pearl white with a touch of metal flake and '77 light/dark blue decals. I love it. And if there are any doubters out there - m is a master of the rattle can.

Looks great! Nice work.
What type of paint did you use, anything special or just standard rattle can stuff? (can't tell by the can in the Blingmaster's hand)

its hard to see but heres a pic where you can see the metal flake and a bit of the pearl in the base clear coat. yes the decals are cleared in under the top clear (2k). this was the next day after it was cured. the thumbprint is just on top, it wiped off.  :clint:

Thanks, everyone! The paint is from Roth Metal Flake with the added high build primer: https://rothmetalflake.com/collections/rattle-bomb-kits/products/rattle-bomb-pearl-kit-br-watson-white. The decals are from Diablo.

Certainly affordable, especially given the results.

Seems like a great deal for a paint kit. Looks awesome.
Thanks for the link (I've bookmarked it for future reference). I already had fun on that site building my own spray bomb kits. Lots of options!
