A cam,never had one yet,but I can certainly see the benefit of it.
Where's a very good place to mount it,forward.. helmet ?

i run mine on the side of the helmet, if you see the tzr vid, thats where it is. or a chest mount, etc. depends on the bike.

I think it'll be a very good witness for when a cager.. does something deadly.

had one on the top of my helmet when i crashed at deals gap in '15. was a solo crash but was interesting to watch the pavement grind my helmet & face shield down

I may just pick one up. I have a cheap Chinese knock-off that had decent video but the audio is atrocious.

Not to hi-jack, but have any experience with dash cams? After my car accident, I've decided it's time to equip the family fleet with them.
