Hello,
I'm looking to order a set of HAGON rear "road" shocks for my RD350 from HVC. I'm guessing someone here has these installed. Are these about the same length as the stock shocks?

The direct replacement set I got from Wemoto are exactly the same length as stock and are so much nicer of a ride.

With stock RD350 mufflers, longer shocks will cause conflict between rear wheel axle/ axle nuts and mufflers. If using expansion chambers, this is rarely a problem.

Hey thanks! I've got an order on the way. I appreciate the info.

I got the hagon shocks delivered and they are roughly the same length at the originals. For installation, I dont have a center stand anymore. Is it ok to replace one shock at a time without using a motorcycle jack? I'm not sure if I'll run into any issues doing this without a jack or centerstand to lift the back wheel up.

I'm thinking I can take my expansion chambers off and re-install my centerstand. That should lift the back wheel up enough to swap out the shocks

You should be able to replace them one at a time pretty easily.
I post waayyy too much

Thanks man. Any one know the torque spec for the rear shocks?

whatever the torque spec is for an m10x1.25 is....  which is 29 ish ft lbs.

Thanks again! Is it overkill to use a dab of blue thread lock?

there should be the nut, a lock washer, then flat washer, then the shock. no loctite needed.  :twocents:
