CS5(?) for sale Clinton NC

Not mine. Posting says CS3 but I'm pretty sure this is a CS5. Looks like a lot of missing parts and zero info about the bike/title etc. I'd be tempted but not at that price!

Definitely a 1972 CS5. The confusion is probably due to the fact that Yamaha carried over the serial number series from the CS3, just changing the first digit after the dash. All CS5 frame and engine numbers begin with CS3-2xxxxx.

That thing is way over priced for what it is. He's completely high if he thinks he can get anywhere near that.

I paid less for my near perfect ls2 a few mos  ago.

Agree with all the above. I was wondering if he added a zero by mistake. For $300 I'd go check it out.

Someone told the seller "it's an old 2 stroke and those things are worth a fortune". But not this one. So much missing off it.

That one's pretty beat up, but yeah the price is more reasonable although still high.
What I find amusing is the last line suggesting a trade. :dawg: Here, that's a felony!
