Going to pick these Allspeeds up after work tonight; I don't need them, but I want'em! Seller only knows that they say "Yamaha 350". Are they gonna fit my RZ, RD350LC or '75 350B? Or do I need an R5 now?

Those are the "large can" version.

They came in an xtra loud "small can" version too.

Made in England and quite rare here.

I like rare, especially where motorcycles and steaks are concerned. If they do turn out to be RZ pipes, I'll have to do a butt-dyno comparison of Allspeeds, Toomeys, DG and Lomas. Otter be fun. 🦦

I think general concesnsus is they were cheap, lightweight and loud.

My money's on the Toomey's.

:celebrate: I picked them up last night, and it was a very nice experience. The seller and I know a lot of the same (motorcycle) people, and we got along famously. So of course, he's moving away.
He bought the pipes secondhand years ago for a grey market RZ250, but never used them, so good eye, Mark!
They're in very nice condition, seem kinda heavy and have no springs to pull them into the flanges  :umm:
I hope to fondle them some more this weekend, and maybe add a picture to the pipe identification thread.

The achingly scientific weighing method; I bought the finest fish scale available for less than $7. I was right in thinking the Allspeeds seemed heavy: 7.25 pounds, compared to a DG at 5.25 and a stainless Lomas at 4.5 pounds. I was unwilling to move the small mountain of dirt bikes and garage detritus to access the RZ and dismount a Toomey for the grand experiment. You can see it peering out from behind the MX100.
