Today was the day for the Economy Cycle Dyna Coil Kit Install.
I put in a call yesterday to my good friend Frank B for assistance. He came over this morning and we got after it.

The instructions were well written and included pictures for the whole process. 1st we removed the electrical tray and rolled it over to the side, removed the factory coil and installed the Dyna.

All the parts were organized into individual labeled baggies making it easy to figure out what goes where.

Frank is heat shrinking the splice we had to make to the positive side of the coil wire where we pick up power for the Daytona Velona tach input. We also had to de-pin the factory coil plug in order to install the plug that mates up with the Dyna sub harness supplied with the kit.

The coil is installed and plug wires laid out here. The kit is very well made and includes all the spacers and hardware required to complete the job. The electrical tray has to be spaced up to clear the coil and it all fits perfectly.

Installation complete. Fired on the 1st kick.

One additional thing we did that isn't required but was done in an abundance of caution was to trim just a sliver off of the LH side of the forward factory coil mount bracket as the Dyna coil wires are very close to touching it.
I can't say enough good things about this kit from John at Economy Cycle
Thank you John for another quality product. And as always a big thank you to Frank B for the help with the install.

Put 40 miles on today. Starts 1st kick cold and feels crisper. Revs quick. I am very well satisfied.

Thanks for the great review Tim  . After we started selling those coils, guys kept calling about installation, so we put the kit together. It looks like there's plenty of room there, but its kind of tight and there just wasn't a simply way to do it. And the Dyna coils have been rock solid, don't think I've ever had a warranty claim on them. Thanks so much
