FedEx is still sending me 2 letters per month on the $19.90 I "owe" them for the $30 cable that they broke from CMSNL.
How much money have they spent to mail out the bills to collect and answer my phone call and respond to the emails?

m in sc

I ain't paying them shit. they can file and collect refunds.  we can't.

Any idea of what fees are on Yambits orders from here on out?

right now should be 10%. option of max 15%  . def not 30%

The actual FedEx tariff is low. They just tack on another $15.00 administrative fee of their own - to cover the cost of billing. Billing starts with a text (making it look like a scam) and then goes to USPS over and over again.

So, your order from Yambits with 10% or so, plus $15.00, looks like.

yup. correct. it think it was 15 bucks processing, i finally looked.

We can file to collect refunds from UPS. They are refunding people.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a $2k disc brake kit for my Porsche from Germany.

Not looking forward to learning how all this tariff business works.

I don't remember eating anything in Germany that I didn't like; and the Reislings! I love a sweet Reisling, and the Mosel valley turns out some great ones.

@85RZwade
Riesling, not Reisling   But not a sweet one. The good ones are dry.

if someone was to fly over and pick these up in person, could it be shipped by said person back home to USA directly and avoid tariff? What about checking it as personal luggage and carrying it in a sturdy suitcase in baggage hold underneath to bring home on your flight?

I just bought a quick shifter solenoid for my RS250, from the Czech Republic....
Got hit $$$ for the wire transfer, and just got a notice from shipper that I owe $41 in tariffs...
Shifter was €119
Not sure how they calculated it, but I'm not doing that again.

It could have fit in someone's pocket...

That's 34%!  Hope that doesn't mean I'll be owing $680?!?
