For anybody who needs another tool
Looks like it makes plug chops really easy

Available from farm and sand toys

Wonder how many it would do before it was dull?

Looks like pretty aggressive teeth. I dig it though.

I've seen this. I bought one to do this but have not used it yet.

Does the plug get reused each time? I don't get it. How does that not affect compression?

plug chops are sacrificial.

um, not sure about the colorblind thing but darkness and location of ring is what i look for, old manuals have the pictures in black and white, thats how i learned.

Yamaha 179

We used to chuck plugs in a lathe and cut them up to look for the carbon ring on the electrode.  Works very well when you do a proper plug chop.  Looks like this would do the same thing.
