My Dad has a ton of old shit valuable vintage items like that in his shop from restoring antique "hit n' miss" stationary engines and Cletrac and Caterpillar tracklayer tractors, but I've honestly never seen one of those before.  Just a wild guess.

Well, yeah you're right. Sounds like it was an educated guess! So weird you would mention a Cletrac, as there's one returning to the soil just a few yards from the shed from which I pulled the valve lapping tool tonight.

My lovely wife says it's a branding iron (I was thinking the same thing)

Nope and nope.

Although it would work pretty well as a branding iron if your name is "C".

It is a two-stroke related tool, tho.  Sooner or later, the right person will wander by and know what it is immediately.

I'm thinking snowmobile or watercraft, something you'd need some length to reach into. The little kink would seem to indicate going inside a hole or recess...just about ready to search the K&L catalog.

That ones easy. It's a wrist and arm brace from 1933. The t handle looking yabbit goes into your armpit thus giving the implement the nickname of the "North Korean goose-stepper". As your arms stay stiff when walking.
