This won't be issue for me until my B8ES stash runs out. I have at least 15-20 years worth on hand :dawg:

Also for owners of the RD125/RD200/RD250/RD350 it looks like the B8HS (aka NGK part #5510) is discontinued as well. The part is listed with life cycle attribute of "Available only while supplies last.", same as for the B8ES.

Better get to the autozone and buy a bunch while I can.

What's a good alternative for a Vape system? I'm sure there's a few, but just curious.

The iridium plugs. BR8EIX for the 3/4 reach.
Or for the short 1/2 reach for RD250/350's use the BR8HIX

Autolite 4092 is what I run in the RD350 with good success. Cheap and readily available at AutoZone last I bought any.

I run these. They are expensive but last forever. I have yet to fowl one.

Bummer. I just fouled my plugs and couldn't find any 5510's locally. Will BR8HS work for the RD350?

autolite 4092.
9 series but good.

I've had good success in the past with the Autolite Xtreme Sport Iridium Spark Plugs XS4063 and they cross reference to the stock NGK B8ES Plug

Luckily I found qty 14 B8HS plugs from two different store locations:) I guess I'm good for a little while. I have a 5 year old set of BR8HIX plugs that I've never used due to tuning/carb issues. Maybe I'll give them a go. I'm glad I saw this thread....thanks again!

Got a sealed 10 pack of Autolite 4092 in the mail today. I paid $9.50 with free shipping. The shipping cost on the envelope was $7.75. Feel like I robbed them

I know, old topic, but I think I have an interesting update. I asked my favorite local parts man about B8HS plugs, and he had four on hand (now I have four). I told him what I'd heard and read about the non-resistors going away, and he scoffed...until he started looking for them at other Carquest stores. Nationwide, he found, there are minimal quantities in stores and warehouses. Buy 'em while you can.
I post waayyy too much

I won't be needing any soon. This is maybe 1/3 of what I have on hand  :dawg:
