All re-chromed, repolished or stainless...even caught my wife's eye...

Very well finished, love the black rim in contrast to the polish and stainless.

did you do the polishing yourself?

Well that's not fair... who doesn't love the looks of a drum brake?

Those chrome caps over the fork boots look pretty sweet

Wow. That's nice. Ton of work.

What do you put on after polishing to keep the shine?

I have been using a "clear sealer" paste but really the key is frequent polish with a rag and paste.  I considered a clear lacquer, urethane, or poly but couldn't bring myself to do it.  I work at a paint store and have access to all of it, but I don't know if that's a good way to go.

Someone here must have clear coated.  Anyone have results?

I used Spray Max 2K clear on the polished parts for my '73 Honda TL125.
After a year, (stored indoors), they still look good. But, with the slight
caveat that it has developed a very little foggy discoloration. Have to look close
to notice it.
So I decided NOT to clear coat the polished parts on my '73 RD250 project.

Just my 2c.
