Countershaft sprocket assembly questions

Hello again,

Do I need to put a dab of all purpose grease on the splines and front face of the collar before attaching the sprocket and chain? Seems like a good idea but not sure

Outside of the locking washer, Does anyone use lock tight on the nut as well?
